She briefly becomes one towards the end of Forsaken. Much of her backstory and later life are revealed in the tie-in novel Assassin's Creed: Forsaken by Oliver Bowden. Since he never gave a fixed return address to his wife, he doesn't learn of her existence until after her death, meeting his daughter for the first time at the end of the game. She was born shortly after Edward sailed for the Caribbean.
